## About the Role

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field) 4-7 years of experience in systems engineering or related field supporting aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries Experience with system-level engineering, integration, and qualification testing Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Working knowledge of aerospace fundamentals such as structures, FEA, dynamics, and materials Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams Strong technical documentation and communication skills Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance Experience supporting systems engineering efforts during proposals (SOW/compliance reviews, rough estimates) Experience with requirements management and traceability tools such as DOORS Next Generation (DNG) and Jazz Team Server (JTS) Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) Experience developing or supporting ConOps Background in system architecture trade studies or design evaluations
Familiarity with verification & validation (V&V) processes Knowledge of system safety methods (e.g., FMEA/FMECA, fault trees) Experience with aerospace or defense certification and regulatory standards
