## About the Role

To provide information technology support to Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Management Area Services (IMAS). The primary tasks are: facilitate the digital transformation of PAE Fires. This includes the adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies, processes, and practices to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall mission effectiveness., * Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related work experience

 * DoD 8140 certifications
 * Netowrk adminstration and engineering experience.
 * TS/SCI eligibility

## Description

* Experience in Leading classified and unclassified network operations; LAN/WAN infrastructure; voice, data, and video services;.
 * Experience in network design, installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and high availability.
Conducts testing of network design.

 * Responsible f or monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.
 * Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
 * Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
 * Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
 * Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
