SQL Server Database Development * Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases. * Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, common table expressions, window functions, stored procedures, views, functions, and transactions. * Experience with schema design, normalization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, query tuning, and database performance troubleshooting. * Understanding of database security, permissions, auditing, backup/recovery concepts, and data-retention considerations. * Experience supporting database deployments and coordinating schema changes across development, test, staging, and production environments. * Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and the differences between cloud-managed and self-hosted SQL Server environments.
