Additional skills/experience required: * Certification as a Level II AND/OR III Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) as defined by DoD Instruction 8510.01 - Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT) * Ability to manage programmatic schedules and drive performance to meet contract deliverables. * Demonstrated ability to communicate with government customers and the ability to influence within multiple levels of the organization. * Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering program level planning documentation and change management. * Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams in complex systems engineering across the product development lifecycle. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate directly with government customers to create policy, process, and implement appropriate tools for architecting, modeling, and designing a SpE infrastructure to continuously assess, mitigate, and minimize risk to the system's security. * Demonstrated ability to oversee and implement security risk management processes and mitigation strategies for security policy and requirements. * Experience with Risk Management Framework (NIST 800-53) and appropriate mitigation strategies. * Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills. * Experience in developing content for RMF packages used to gain an Authority To Operate (ATO) for an Information Systems. * Skills in analysis, critical thinking, and technical problem solving. * Thorough understanding and implementation of the end-to-end System Engineering lifecycle. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Master's degree in technical management, engineering, cybersecurity, or other technical discipline * Desired experience in digital engineering and model-based systems engineering principles and tools * INCOSE CSEP, ESEP, or equivalent certification * CISSP or equivalent Cybersecurity certification ## Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Navy Qualified Validator (NQV)/Team Lead to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Serving as the NQV/Team Lead, you will influence a multi-disciplinary team responsible for risk management framework of System Security Engineering (SSE). Currently we are developing and implementing a strategic solution for the integration of a model-based systems engineering approach to support current and future large-scale missile systems. You will collaborate directly with government customers to create policy, process, and implement appropriate tools for architecting, modeling, and designing a SSE infrastructure to continuously assess, mitigate, and minimize risk to the system's security and to the overall mission. You will work closely with a specialized team and will interact routinely with the customer partner, workforce, and SSE team members to ensure successful administration and execution of a mission critical program. In this role, the NQV/Team Lead will provide information assurance (IA)/risk management framework (RMF) expertise to government Program or Project Managers and oversee the development and maintenance of the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Program (SSP) policy and directives.
