A creative individual with strong software development and communications skills., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. * 4-5+ years' experience developing systems with .NET, C# and solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. * Demonstrated experience with software development, testing, and quality assurance methodologies. * Must be able to communicate with business users in non-technical terms and communicate the impacts of system changes to business partners. * Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with peers and work as part of a high performing and aggressive team. * Effective listener, who can give timely and constructive feedback. This role requires you to develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the investment management business, specializing in Private Equity, Private Placements, and Real Estate investing., * Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the HIMCO Alternatives investment strategies and business processes. * Participate on assignments and projects, clarifying business requirements, performing application development and modification activities, as well as related maintenance and support. * Participate in planning sessions with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements.
