We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Design Engineer with 5+ years of network engineering and design experience to architect, optimize, and support complex enterprise LAN environments within a manufacturing setting. * Design and architect complex LAN environments, including routing, VLANs, subnetting, and voice/video protocols.
 * Design and implement robust wired and wireless campus Ethernet infrastructure across large-scale environments.
 * Incorporate network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure network protocols.
 * Provide Level 3 Incident and Problem Management support, troubleshooting complex network issues and driving rapid service restoration.
 * Use network monitoring and analysis tools to proactively identify performance issues and improve network availability.
 * Partner with WAN/MAN, transport, structured cabling, project management, and other technical teams in agile-inspired sprint environments.
 * Optimize network performance using QoS, traffic shaping, load balancing, and network-performance metrics.
 * Create and maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, design documentation, and technical standards.
 * Read and assess existing network configurations and translate current-state environments into future-state network designs.
