## About the Role

* BESS industry experience is required. You have worked as a performance engineer, systems engineer, or O&M engineer. You know what happens inside a BESS project from commissioning through the first year of operation
\n

 * Familiarity with BESS data flows and ingestion protocols (Modbus, IEC-104, OPC-UA, REST API, SFTP)
\n

 * Deep knowledge of lithium-ion battery behavior, degradation mechanisms, capacity fade, DC internal resistance, SoC estimation, and cell voltage/temperature imbalances
\n

 * Working knowledge with US wholesale power markets and ISOs/RTOs (CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, ISO-NE, NYISO)
\n

 * Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
