Preferred Qualifications: * AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or similar cloud certification. * Experience supporting CMS programs, CMS AWS environments, or federal healthcare initiatives. * Experience working with Facets, claims systems, or healthcare data workflows. * Experience designing robust IAM (Identity and Access Management), data encryption, and regulatory frameworks from the ground up. * Prior experience in POC development, architecture validation, and performance benchmarking for cloud environments. * Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA). * Familiarity with enterprise modernization initiatives involving legacy-to-cloud transitions. * Experience developing architectural documentation and participating in technical governance or architecture review boards. ## Description We are seeking a Senior Lead / Delivery Lead Cloud Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of cloud architecture solutions that support a major modernization initiative within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This role is responsible for architecting and deploying the Proof-of-Concept (POC) cloud environment on CMS AWS, ensuring compliance with CMS security and performance requirements, and guiding the technical execution needed to validate system integration and claims-matching objectives.
