## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
 * 5+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
 * Expertise in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
 * Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
 * Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
 * Familiarity with hardware-software integration, debugging, and testing tools., * Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic microcontroller-based systems.
 * Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus).
 * Demonstrated ability to debug hardware/software interactions using lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
 * Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508) and their application in embedded systems.

 * Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with new and existing devices.
 * Implement and maintain communication protocols for industrial automation.
