Principal Systems Engineer : * Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 year with a PhD Sr. Principal Systems Engineer : * Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD Required for both levels: * Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need * 3 years of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis experience * 1 year experience with radio frequency analysis * Experience utilizing MS&A tools to inform design solutions, derive or verify requirements * Familiarity with requirements management and the verification and validation process * Demonstrated experience with mathematical modeling and simulation * Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or related scientific computer programming tools * Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles Preferred Qualifications: * Pre-existing SAP access * Experience with GitLab or related source control tool * Experience with model verification and validation planning and execution * Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite * Knowledge of DOORS or related requirements management tool * Knowledge of Cameo ## Description Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Systems Engineer for the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program.
