## About the Role

Education: Bachelor's Degree required, *2+ Years of Professional Experience
*Hands on experience with Pega functional testing tools and QA testing approaches for Pega applications.
*Strong foundation in Quality Assurance principles, test case development, defect tracking, and regression testing.
*Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, identifying gaps or ambiguities.
*Familiarity with Agile/iterative development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly document and articulate defects, risks, and improvement recommendations.
*Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

Bonus / Preferred Qualifications
*Pega certification (CSA, CSSA, or related).
*Experience with automated testing tools for Pega applications (e.g., PegaUnit, Selenium for Pega UI).
*Familiarity with Agile-focused testing methodologies across Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid environments
*Exposure to test automation or hybrid testing frameworks.
*Experience participating in CI/CD-integrated testing workflows.

## Description

*Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Pega applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business workflows.
*Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
*Validate system functionality against business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring accurate behavior.
*Identify, document, and track defects, partnering with engineering teams to support timely and thorough resolution.
*Assist with test planning, including defining test scope, estimating effort, and contributing to test strategy development.
*Maintain and update test documentation, including regression test suites and functional test artifacts.
*Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and support testing activities across all iterations.
*Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure quality alignment throughout the SDLC.
*Analyze test results, identify risks, and provide clear, actionable feedback to development and product teams.
