## About the Role

* 5+ years of proven software development experience, specifically with Java Web services and APIs
 * Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, and JavaScript
 * Experience defining API design including versioning, microservices, and deployment strategies
 * Familiarity with API documentation frameworks like Swagger
 * Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and experience with automation and testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test
 * Ability to support mission-critical customer-facing applications with a focus on scalability and performance
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have Skills:

 * Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and private cloud capabilities
 * Knowledge of web development with JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, JQuery, Angular, and Node.js
 * Scripting experience with Linux Shell and familiarity with open source streaming products and message-oriented middleware
 * Certification in AWS Cloud or related DevOps tools is a bonus

Preferred Education and Experience:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
 * 5+ years of comprehensive experience in full-stack development, API solution architecture, and DevOps practices
