* 10+ years of CICS Systems Programming experience in enterprise mainframe environments.
 * Advanced knowledge of CICS architecture, internals, administration, and performance tuning.
 * Strong experience supporting and managing CICSPlex environments.
 * Hands-on experience with z/OS, DB2 Data Sharing, MQ Shared Queue Managers, and REXX.
 * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues and implement effective solutions.
 * Experience leading technical initiatives and coordinating efforts across multiple teams.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
 * Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within large, cross-functional teams.
 * Ability to support a 24x7 production environment, including scheduled on-call responsibilities., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
 * Master-level expertise with CICSPlex and related OEM products.
 * Experience influencing infrastructure strategy and technology roadmaps.
 * Prior experience serving as a technical consultant or advisor for large-scale enterprise environments.
 * Strong strategic thinking skills with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and business outcomes.

 * Provide technical leadership for large-scale mainframe initiatives, guiding projects from strategy through execution.
 * Build, support, and continuously improve highly available CICS environments across the enterprise.
 * Partner with application development teams and infrastructure stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches that improve performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
 * Diagnose complex infrastructure and application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions.
 * Install, configure, maintain, and optimize CICS and associated system software products.
 * Contribute expertise in:
 + CICSPlex System Manager (CPSM)
 + DB2 Data Sharing
 + MQ Shared Queue Managers
 + REXX
 + z/OS
 * Provide guidance and consultation to a large and diverse application development organization.
