You are comfortable contributing across both backend and frontend development in a small team. ## Description You will join a focused team of 2-3 developers reporting to a technical lead. Your work will span database design, backend services, APIs, and polished user interfaces. The team supports an established platform while developing pilot solutions and custom applications for emerging operational needs. Technology stack: Python/Django, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL/Aurora, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Keycloak. What You Will Do * Design, build, test, and maintain complete applications from database through user interface. * Develop Python backend services, Django-based APIs, and Backend-for-Frontend architectures. * Create responsive React or Next.js interfaces with thoughtful component design and state management. * Design PostgreSQL schemas, optimize queries, and develop data migrations and loading processes. * Integrate authentication and authorization using Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and CAC/PIV. * Deploy and troubleshoot applications across AWS partitions, regions, and classification levels. * Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure modules. * Support GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows. * Interpret security scanning results and remediate application, dependency, and container vulnerabilities. * Use AI-assisted development tools within applicable security and data-handling requirements. * Deliver well-tested, documented code and communicate clearly with the technical lead and teammates., Join a high-impact development team building secure applications that directly support mission operations.
