## About the Role

* BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (at least 3 years) with IT and telecommunications hardware and software
 * At least 5 years automation test-related work experience
 * Experience in JavaScript and designing automation test code
 * Hands on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, or similar
 * Familiar with CI/CD pipeline (GitLab, Jenkins….)
 * Understanding of containerization, virtualization such as Kubernetes
 * Experience with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA (preferred)) and Test Management Systems (e.g., JAMA)
 * Strong written and communication skills - ability to communicate progress/problems, test design with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
 * Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects,
 * Ability to work independently and with a team
 * Strong understanding in QA methodology, Agile/Scrum software development processes and project life cycles

## Description

* Collaborate with manual testers, dev ops engineers and integration lead to identify automation candidates from each software drop
 * Design, develop and implement automation regression test suites that validate features end to end
 * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for quick feedback in the release cycles
 * Manage and produce clear automation dashboards, test reports and metrics for the assigned Test program(s), including # of scripts executed, pass/fail reports
 * Troubleshoot valid test failures, automation false negatives to continuously improve the automation stability and coverage
 * Fully document any defects/unexpected anomalies identified during automation testing
