As a Software Test Engineer at S5 Analytics, you will be an integral part of our team, developing a strong system-level understanding of the customer's software and how it is used from an end-user perspective. You will write and execute automated front-end regression tests, develop and perform manual regression testing procedures, and document test performance, software defects, and design inefficiencies. You will work closely with developers to create realistic and effective testing scenarios, bringing an understanding of what makes a strong test and how testing can best support the development team throughout the software lifecycle. This role requires developer-level coding and/or scripting skills in JavaScript, Bash, Python, and YAML, with the ability to apply those skills to test automation, troubleshooting, and overall system validation. You will demonstrate a high level of self-initiative, technical curiosity, and ownership in your work, with the ability to independently build system knowledge, identify potential issues, and serve as a reliable partner to the development team.
