Candidates must hold Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility, have at least five years of full-stack experience, and be local to Springfield, Virginia or St. Louis, Missouri for periodic onsite access., Full Stack Development, Relational Database, RESTful APIs, 5 + years of related experience, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered. * Security clearance: Top Secret/SCI with a CI Poly. * 5+ years of professional full-stack software-development experience. * Strong hands-on experience developing backend services with Python. * Strong hands-on experience developing front-end applications with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. * Experience with at least one modern front-end framework, preferably React. * Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs. * Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus. * Experience with source control and collaborative branching workflows using Git. * Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, or operating CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar. * Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as PyTest, unittest, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent. * Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices, including Scrum or Kanban, story estimation, iterative development, and backlog-driven delivery. * Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, or comparable frameworks. * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or containerized application delivery. * Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, GCP, or an enterprise/private-cloud environment. * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. * Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting. * Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, role-based access control, and secure API design. * Experience with accessibility practices, including WCAG and Section 508 requirements. * Experience working in regulated, enterprise, or government environments. * Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, and secrets scanning. ## Description Remote still requires the candidate to be local to Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO for quarterly Planning Events and to come in once a month in order to maintain required training and accounts (SCIF access required). We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong Python and JavaScript expertise to design, build, test, deploy, and support modern web applications. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end-to-end-from responsive user interfaces and APIs through data persistence, automated testing, and production delivery-and thrives in an Agile team environment. A full-stack developer commonly owns user interfaces, backend APIs, database interactions, testing, and deployment activities; CI/CD and Agile collaboration are frequent core expectations for this role.
