## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field

## Description

The Test Engineer I within the Precision Electronics department is responsible for hands-on verification testing of software on agricultural equipment, conducted primarily in real-world field environments. This role involves direct interaction with machines, instrumentation, and operating conditions, with additional bench-level testing used to support machine-based verification activities. The position collaborates with systems and software engineering teams to ensure that software design and implementation meet defined requirements and performance expectations., * Perform verification testing of embedded software on agricultural equipment in field and bench environments

 * Analyze and review system requirements to develop test strategies and plans
 * Design, develop, and execute test cases and procedures aligned with feature functionality and performance expectations
 * Analyze test results and failures, perform root cause investigation, and distinguish between test issues and product defects
 * Create, maintain, and communicate test reports and quality status to stakeholders.
 * Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, and identified defects
 * Collaborate with systems engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure complete verification coverage
 * Support coordination of test activities with internal teams and external partners, as required
 * Identify and contribute to improvements in test processes, methodologies, and tools
