 * CompTIA A+ or Microsoft desktop support certifications

## Description

Our client is seeking a Desktop Technician to join their IT Support team in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hands-on desktop support role focused on providing technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a smooth desktop computing experience across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with users, and supporting a fast-paced IT environment.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices
 * Provide support through the IT Help Desk via phone, chat, and in-person interactions
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
 * Manage and resolve support tickets using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system
 * Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and peripherals
 * Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary
 * Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacements
 * Document solutions and contribute to IT knowledge base articles
 * Support users with technology questions and provide basic training when needed
 * Maintain service levels and effectively manage assigned ticket queues
