This position performs advanced engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations and is responsible for technical decisions associated with Cyber Security. Supports fleet initiatives and plant design modifications, testing and problem solving. Assure all engineering products prepared or overseen are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. Leads sub-project teams. Coordinates project accountabilities and planning goals with respect to engineering personnel., * Serves as a sub-team leader for fleet cyber security initiatives * Coordinate Information Technology (IT) and site teams to implement and administer the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) mandated cyber security program. * Serve as primary contact IT and site teams to implement and administer the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)/North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) mandated cyber security program. * Perform Cyber assessments as required by the NRC/FERC/NERC cyber security programs. * Support the sites in testing and issue resolution associated with the cyber security programs. * Maintain awareness of trends and issues in area of technical expertise; evaluate new technologies or technology opportunities and provide analysis of their potential impact to the business. * Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
