## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands-on Tableau Development experience.
 * Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
 * Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, subqueries, aggregations, and window functions.
 * Hands-on experience with Tableau calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, sets, filters, and dashboard actions.
 * Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing.
 * Experience with Tableau extracts, data sources, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
 * Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration concepts.
 * Strong understanding of dashboard design, visualization, and performance optimization.
 * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Tableau Prep.
 * Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
 * Experience with Python or R for analytics/automation.
 * Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure.
 * Knowledge of dimensional data modeling.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud, SQL, data modeling, and ETL/data integration.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly BI solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

 * Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Tableau solutions.
 * Develop complex Tableau calculations, parameters, filters, sets, actions, and LOD expressions.
 * Build and maintain Tableau workbooks, data sources, extracts, and refresh schedules.
 * Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
 * Connect Tableau to relational databases, data warehouses, Excel files, APIs, and other data sources.
 * Perform data preparation, cleansing, transformation, and validation for reporting.
 * Develop and maintain data models supporting Tableau dashboards and analytics.
 * Publish and manage workbooks and data sources on Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud.
 * Troubleshoot dashboard, data-source, extract, and production issues.
 * Perform Tableau dashboard performance optimization and query tuning.
 * Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
 * Conduct unit testing, data reconciliation, and UAT support.
 * Maintain technical documentation and dashboard specifications.
 * Work directly with business users and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver analytics solutions.
