## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

 * Auto CAD / 3D modelling knowledge is a plus.
\n

 * Equivalent combination of technical education and relevant industrial experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
\n

 * Coursework or experience in HVAC, process air systems, industrial ventilation, humidification, dust collection, or thermal/process engineering.
\n

 * Ability to perform engineering calculations related to airflow, pressure drop, fan selection, heat and mass transfer, and system performance.
\n

 * Familiarity with industrial standards, codes, and engineering documentation practice.
\n

## Description

The Application & Design Engineer is responsible for technical solution development (application engineering) and sole responsible for the design aspects for industrial air engineering systems including air filtration, ventilation, humidification, and air conditioning systems. This role bridges the gap between sales proposal/application engineering and project execution, ensuring solutions are technically correct, commercially viable and inline with Luwa's Global Design Standards. The design / drafting coordination is with other Luwa BU overseas, like in China / India and Switzerland as needed.
