Preferred & Highly Desired Qualifications * Public Sector / Transportation Domain: 2+ years of experience working within state government or transportation-related agencies (VDOT or tolling environments preferred). * Regulated Environments: 5+ years working in regulated or compliance-audited IT environments. * Microservices Architecture: 2+ years of exposure to microservice architecture design patterns and database decoupling. ## Description We are seeking a Senior Microsoft SQL & .NET Technical Lead to support the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Tolling Modernization Program in Mechanicsville, VA. This hybrid role provides hands-on SQL and .NET engineering leadership, driving the transformation of a monolithic database into microservice-aligned schemas.
