## About the Role

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including occasional international travel., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or related discipline; Master's preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

 * 2+ years of professional software development experience building and delivering complex software systems to customers.
 * Strong programming skills and proficiency applying object oriented design patterns and clean code practices.
 * Experience with REST APIs.
 * Experience across the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, automated testing, and production operations.
 * Hands on experience developing automated tests at the unit, integration, contract, and system level and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
 * Ability to instrument and monitor services and apply operational excellence practices to troubleshoot and improve production systems.
 * Understanding of security and data privacy best practices and ability to apply them in system design and implementation.
 * Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and influence technical decisions within the team.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with event driven microservices; familiarity with cloud native deployment patterns and containerization.
 * Experience with network protocols, distributed application debugging, and performance analysis.
