The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting and enhancing critical banking systems, including Deposits, Loans, Customer/Account Management, General Ledger, and Tax applications. The role requires deep technical knowledge of COBOL-based mainframe environments, batch processing, and banking domain expertise to deliver high-quality solutions and support business objectives. In this role, you will: · Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications supporting core banking operations. · Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective mainframe solutions. · Develop and support batch processing jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and other mainframe technologies. · Perform code debugging, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities. · Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders to implement system enhancements. · Participate in code reviews, unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and deployment activities.
