 * 5+ years experience working with State Medicaid systems
 * 3+ years experience as a Project Manager or similar leadership role
 * 2+ years experience in systems integration, data exchange, and/or data transformation
 * 1+ year experience working on large IT projects
 * 5+ years experience with X12 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions
 * 5+ years experience working with APIs
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

 * Project Management Certification (PMP preferred)
 * 3+ years experience as an Agile Product Owner

## Description

The IT Healthcare Consultant will serve as a Project Manager / Project Lead and function as a Product Owner for one or more MES Core components. This role requires strong Medicaid domain expertise, systems integration experience, and Agile leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

 * Serve as Product Owner for MES Core modules
 * Define product capabilities and roadmap
 * Break down capabilities into epics, features, and user stories
 * Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog
 * Document epics and stories with clear acceptance criteria
 * Collaborate with development teams to refine and estimate stories
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
 * Provide continuous product guidance and clarification
 * Review and sign off on completed stories
 * Act as liaison between MES Core team and external stakeholders
 * Support production issue resolution and troubleshooting
