In this role, you will be responsible for bringing up new prototype hardware, executing board-level debugging, flashing firmware, and validating system functionality using lab equipment and command-line tools. The opportunity: * Board Bring-Up & Validation: Perform initial power-on, bring-up, and functional validation of bare-metal boards, prototypes, and system assemblies. * Hardware Debug & Troubleshooting: Inspect, diagnose, and resolve hardware and electrical issues down to the component or board level. * Firmware Flashing: Program and update board firmware, BIOS, and microcontrollers using standard programmers and utilities. * Testing & Script Execution: Execute test plans, run automated test scripts, and interact with hardware via Command Line Interfaces (CLI) and serial terminal environments. * Lab Equipment Operation: Set up and operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, bench top power supplies, and function generators to capture diagnostic data. * Rework & Modifications: Perform minor surface-mount soldering, wire modifications, and ECO rework on prototype PCBs as needed. * Documentation & Tracking: Document test results, track bugs, and log hardware revisions for the engineering team.
