**Published:** October 2, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.dice.com/job-detail/6f276b8c-0b94-4bd3-8f85-3061483eede2 ## About the Role * 10+ years of experience in Solution/Cloud Architecture, with significant SAP experience. * Strong hands-on expertise in AWS architecture and cloud services. * Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP ECC, and enterprise SAP landscapes. * Experience designing and migrating SAP workloads to AWS. * Strong understanding of AWS VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, Load Balancing, Backup, and networking. * Experience with SAP HANA architecture, sizing, performance, backup/recovery, and HA/DR. * Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework. * Experience with cloud migration methodologies and tools. * Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code. * Experience with enterprise networking, DNS, VPN, Direct Connect, firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity. * Strong understanding of security, encryption, IAM, compliance, and governance. * Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, RTO/RPO, and resilience architecture. * Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills ## Description * Design end-to-end AWS architectures for SAP workloads, including SAP S/4HANA and related SAP applications. * Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies for SAP workloads moving from on-premises environments to AWS. * Architect highly available, scalable, secure, and disaster-resilient SAP environments on AWS. * Design AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, AWS Backup, and Transit Gateway. * Define architecture for SAP HANA databases, including sizing, performance, backup, recovery, replication, and high availability. * Provide technical leadership for SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives. * Design connectivity between SAP and other enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, messaging, and integration platforms. * Establish AWS security architecture covering IAM, encryption, network security, key management, logging, monitoring, and compliance. * Develop HA/DR strategies using AWS capabilities and SAP-supported architectures. * Optimize AWS infrastructure and SAP workloads for performance and cost efficiency. * Collaborate with SAP Basis, SAP Functional, DevOps, Network, Security, Database, and Cloud Engineering teams. * Create architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, technical standards, and migration plans. * Provide architectural guidance on Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. * Evaluate existing SAP environments and identify opportunities for cloud modernization and optimization. * Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and compliance standards. ## Related Videos -
