This is a high-autonomy IC role where you'll work directly with investors and finance teams, shipping features end-to-end with no product manager layer in between., * Private markets domain knowledge - must have built software involving cap tables, ownership/dilution, valuations, portfolio monitoring, or LP reporting (experience at a fund, or companies like Carta, Standard Metrics, Aumni, Juniper Square, Chronograph, PitchBook, or similar) * Full-stack production experience - comfortable writing Python services, modeling data in PostgreSQL, and building React/TypeScript interfaces * Strong SQL and data modeling instincts - much of the work is deciding how messy private market data should be represented before any UI gets built * 5+ years shipping production web applications (flexible for exceptional candidates, but not entry-level) * Hands-on IC who ships - this is not a management, architecture-only, or research role; you will code and deliver working software Work experience · Experience building back- office software for private markets, venture capital, or startup financials (Pitchbook, Carta, Pulley) · Built and shipped VC and private markets back office products and features: cap tables, preferences and liquidation mechanics, ownership and dilution, capital calls, valuations, portfolio monitoring, or LP reporting Hard skills · Genuine full- stack development proficiency (Python, React, TypeScript) with strong SQL and data modeling instincts Seniority · 5 - 8 years of experience as a full- stack engineer, building back office software for private markets, funds, or VCs Soft skills · Experience working directly with investor teams and stakeholders. Able to translate observations into scope.
