## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands on desktop experience troubleshooting devices such as windows laptops, phones, printers, scanners, etc * Has supplied installation instructions, resolution documentation, and performance upgrades on devices. * Experience with ServiceNow as a ticketing system * Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting in Microsoft environment (ex: Intune, exchange, windows, etc) * Experience working with operating systems (preferably Microsoft) and remote connection systems * Skilled in VIP support and has worked directly with executives * Has knowledge and is up to date on network security practices * Interest in AI and hands on experience with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Co-Pilot or similar

## Description

Insight Global is looking for a Desktop Technician to work onsite for one of our client's in the Kansas City area. This is a fully onsite position! In this role, this person will be responsible for providing level 2 technician issues related to both hardware and software. The most common devices this person will be supporting include computers, printers, and scanners to name a few. This role will work from a ServiceNow ticketing queue and be aligned to the desktop support requests. This role also has responsibility that aligns to IT asset management, PC imaging, and hardware/software deployments. On the software side, this role will be supporting out of the box software, pushing through Intune, pushing drivers, etc. This person will also interface with the companies software suppliers to help manage inventory. It is also very important that this person be polished and professional as they will be the front-line support for the executives as well!
