The application supports the trading control function and focuses on comparing market prices against book valuations, investigating valuation gaps, and producing reporting for audit and management. This person will own end-to-end application responsibilities across system design, database design, implementation, production support, and user support. They will build and enhance Python-based services, scheduled jobs, data pipelines, Oracle database components, and Angular UI features used to surface valuation discrepancies, analytics, and reporting outputs. Current initiatives include onboarding and migrating data into a Hadoop-based Data Lake, refactoring ETL jobs for high-volume processing, modernizing legacy workflows, building scalable third-party data ingestion services, and improving proprietary job orchestration capabilities.
