## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
 * 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
 * Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, with experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
 * Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM, PIC) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).
 * Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
 * Demonstrated ability to debug and test embedded hardware and software in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

 * Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic microcontroller OS.
 * Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus).
 * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues on physical production lines.
 * Experience with automated testing frameworks for embedded systems.
 * Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for embedded devices in an industrial setting.

 * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
 * Implements and optimizes firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded processors.
 * Troubleshoots and debugs hardware and software issues in production environments.
 * Develops and maintains technical documentation for embedded systems.
 * Participates in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
