## Description

Teradyne is seeking a Technical Software Engineering Manager I to lead a small team of software engineers within the Compute Software Solutions organization located in Agoura Hills, California. This leader will be responsible for managing approximately 4-5 engineers while remaining closely engaged in technical execution, software architecture discussions, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership for software development activities supporting compute and automation solutions. This role requires balancing people leadership, technical guidance, and operational execution to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

 * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-5 software engineers.
 * Manage software development schedules, priorities, and resource planning.
 * Guide technical design discussions and software architecture decisions.
 * Support development of scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
 * Establish team objectives and ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
 * Collaborate with product, systems, hardware, quality, and program management teams.
 * Conduct performance and development discussions while fostering employee growth.
 * Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, development processes, and quality standards.
 * Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
 * Ensure software solutions align with organizational goals, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
