## About the Role

* 3+ years of building data reports, primarily for senior leaders/executives
 * Experience building reports in databricks using SQL and dbt
 * Experience building reports in Tableau
 * Strong communication; ability to partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel

## Description

* Design, build, and optimize curated analytics datasets in Databricks using SQL and dbt to support executive and operational Tableau reporting.
 * Develop and maintain Tableau-ready fact and dimension models, ensuring data is structured for reporting accuracy, performance, refresh requirements, and business usability in Tableau. Client will do the Tableau work but needs to be Tableau ready.
 * Partner with business and client stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, validate data definitions, map business logic, and resolve data quality issues.
 * Implement and support a limited number of ingestion processes, primarily to bring Excel-based source data into Databricks for downstream transformation and reporting.
