Required:

 * Experience developing in C++.
 * Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or similar).
 * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
 * Experience with debugging, testing, and maintaining applications.

Desired:

 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Jenkins.
 * Knowledge of JMPS/NOMS.
 * Experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
 * Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
 * Experience with web development frameworks (React, Flask, Spring Boot)., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field (required) and 3-10 years of relevant professional or internship experience in software development required.

## Description

Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company, is seeking a Journeyman Software Developer in Patuxent River, MD. The Journeyman Software Developer will support mission-critical DoD programs through the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in computer science, hands-on development experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies to contribute to secure, scalable applications in a collaborative environment., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming practices

 * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++ and other object-oriented languages
 * Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
 * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure system reliability and performance
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions
 * Support system enhancements by adding new features and optimizing existing functionality
 * Contribute to software testing efforts, including unit testing and integration testing
 * Assist with version control, build pipelines, and deployment activities
