Teaching responsibilities for this position will be fulfilled at our Turlock campus. \u2022 Maintaining an active program of scholarship that satisfies AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) qualification standards. \u2022 Providing service to the Department of Management Information Systems, the College of Business Administration, the University, and the profession. \u2022 Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Information Systems and related areas, with particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of curriculum in these rapidly evolving areas. \u2022 Collaborating with faculty on curriculum development, assessment, and interdisciplinary initiatives; establishing relationships with industry partners; and supporting student engagement through applied and experiential learning opportunities. \u2022 Depending on expertise and departmental needs, contributing to courses or interdisciplinary initiatives related to operations and supply chain management is desirable., The university requires a criminal and/or child abuse background check to be completed for many of its new employees, current employees seeking promotional or transfer opportunities, and current employees assigned new duties. Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
