## About the Role

* Strong professional experience developing applications using Python
 * Hands-on experience with AI, Machine Learning, NLP and/or LLM technologies
 * Experience integrating AI/ML models into production software
 * Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices
 * Experience with FastAPI, Flask or similar Python frameworks
 * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
 * Understanding of software engineering principles, testing and application architecture
 * Experience working with data processing and AI/ML pipelines
 * Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Product teams
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills
 * Active Secret Security Clearance is required

Desirable Experience

 * Experience working with Generative AI and LLM applications
 * Experience with AI agents or agentic workflows
 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or OCI
 * Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
 * Experience with databases, data pipelines and distributed systems
 * Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks and tooling

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Python AI Developer to join a technical team supporting the development and deployment of intelligent, data-driven applications.

You will be responsible for taking AI and machine learning concepts from development through to production. This includes developing robust Python applications, integrating Machine Learning, NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs), building APIs and microservices, and supporting scalable AI solutions in a production environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong software engineering background combined with practical experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions., * Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and services using Python

 * Integrate Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) into production applications
 * Develop clean, scalable and maintainable Python code
 * Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
 * Develop data processing pipelines and integrate AI/ML models into existing applications
 * Work with data scientists and AI engineers to move models from development into production
 * Containerize applications using Docker
 * Deploy and manage applications within Kubernetes environments
 * Troubleshoot, optimize and improve the performance of AI applications
 * Monitor production systems and identify opportunities for improvements
 * Implement software development best practices including testing, version control, documentation and code reviews
 * Work closely with engineering, data science and product teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
 * Support the design of scalable architectures for AI and data-driven applications
