* 8+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise applications.
 * Strong Python development experience.
 * Experience designing distributed, scalable systems and enterprise architecture.
 * Experience building and deploying production software at scale.
 * Working knowledge of modern AI technologies including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, or AI APIs.
 * Experience evaluating technical tradeoffs between AI models and implementation approaches.
 * Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or JavaScript.
 * Strong system design skills.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Experience

 * Experience building AI-enabled enterprise applications.
 * Experience operating within large enterprise technology environments.
 * Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices.
 * Financial services experience is helpful but not required.

## Description

* Lead AI engineering initiatives from concept through production deployment.
 * Design and build scalable enterprise applications using Python and modern software engineering best practices.
 * Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
 * Make architectural decisions around AI model selection, orchestration, retrieval strategies, and system design.
 * Build AI-powered applications leveraging enterprise data while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
 * Evaluate tradeoffs between different LLMs, AI frameworks, and implementation approaches.
 * Establish engineering standards and best practices for AI development, code quality, testing, and deployment.
 * Mentor engineers through technical guidance and thoughtful collaboration.
 * Collaborate across engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms.
