Working alongside our SysOps team, you'll support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and automation of our systems, with a particular focus on providing on-call support to keep things available and healthy around the clock. It's a hands-on role where you'll learn from senior engineers and grow your skills across automation, databases, and infrastructure. This is what you'll do: Automation and Configuration: * Work with and help maintain our Ansible playbooks and roles, and learn to write your own. * Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors. * Help ensure consistent configuration and deployment of infrastructure components. Database Support: * Help monitor and maintain our database clusters (MongoDB, ClickHouse, KeyDB, MySQL, and others) under the guidance of senior team members. * Keep an eye on database performance and flag issues that affect availability and reliability. Monitoring and Performance: * Use our monitoring tools to keep an eye on the health and performance of the infrastructure. * Help identify performance issues and work with the team to resolve them.
