## About the Role

We're looking for someone who has a strong technical background and a passion for broadcast innovation., * A background in Broadcast Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IP Media or a related discipline.

 * Excellent understanding of live transmission chains within IP broadcast environments.
 * Strong knowledge of video and audio broadcast systems, streaming protocols and compression technologies.
 * Experience diagnosing technical issues using broadcast test and measurement equipment.
 * Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
 * Experience working with vision, audio, routing, communications and server-based broadcast systems.
 * Hands-on experience of networking, IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
 * The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.

Experience of SMPTE ST 2110 and modern IP-based broadcast workflows would be highly advantageous.

## Description

Reporting to the Broadcast Solutions Manager, you will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of broadcast systems, supporting installations, migrations and technology transformation projects across the business., * Leading the design and delivery of broadcast solutions from concept through to implementation.

 * Producing and managing system designs and CAD documentation.
 * Maintaining accurate system and service transition documentation.
 * Supervising external installation and wiring resources.
 * Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met.
 * Working closely with customers and suppliers during installations and migrations.
 * Keeping up to date with industry developments and best practice.
