A combined 4+ years of experience working in Medicare, Medicaid, and/or commercial claims database required. Experience working with self-insured employer's claims data a plus. + Excellent analytical skills and strong quantitative and programming skills, including extensive demonstrated experience using SQL, SAS, or other programming languages to manage and analyze big data. + Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, social science, informatics, or other quantitative field. + Experience developing and maintaining reports on spending, price, and utilization from claims data. + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, especially about quantitative findings for non-quantitative audiences. + Detail oriented problem solvers with a sense of resourcefulness. + Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects at once. + Ability to work in a collegial and learning work environment and serve as resource for other team members. + An entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work in a high-impact, mission-driven environment. ## Description We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team working to advance HCCI's mission. This position is ideal for candidates with extensive experience working with health care claims data and who are seeking opportunities to conduct high-profile analytics. The Data Analyst will support HCCI's efforts to provide employers and other stakeholders information to help them make informed decisions to improve the value of health care.
