## About the Role

* Oracle Database administration in production environments, including installation, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance tuning
 * Oracle GoldenGate replication configuration and support

Preferred Skills/Experience:

 * Edition-Based Redefinition (EBR) for online application upgrades

## Description

You will administer Oracle Database environments across development, test, and production, handling installation, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance tuning. You will design, build, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication to keep data consistent and current, and manage Oracle databases on Exadata, including patching, capacity planning, and performance monitoring. You will deploy and operate Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and architect database solutions encompassing data models, high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity plans. You will also secure databases to government standards through hardening, auditing, and access controls, and maintain thorough documentation including configurations, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
