## About the Role

This is a hands-on role for an engineer with strong Linux administration skills and a solid DevOps background, working within highly secure environments.

## Description

* Build, automate and maintain secure Linux-based environments.
 * Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
 * Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers and associated services.
 * Deploy and manage containerised applications.
 * Work closely with infrastructure, software and security teams to deliver resilient platforms.
 * Monitor, maintain and optimise system performance and availability.

Essential Skills

 * Active DV Clearance.
 * Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
 * DevOps tooling including Jenkins, Git, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
 * Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
 * Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
 * Bash and/or Python scripting.
 * Experience with version control (Git).
 * Knowledge of networking, system hardening and security best practices.
