We're looking for hands-on experience developing software in a regulated environment. Medical devices is ideal, but we'll also consider experience from other safety-critical sectors. You'll need: * Proven experience developing embedded software for medical devices or another regulated industry, such as aerospace or automotive safety * Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory frameworks, such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and IEC 60601, or equivalents * A strong understanding of the documentation, traceability and verification required for safety-critical software * Experience working with regulatory, quality or verification teams throughout the software development lifecycle * The technical credibility to define architecture and set development standards at a senior level If you come from another safety-critical or regulated sector and want to specialise in medical technology, we'd welcome your application. You'll need to show real experience of regulated development practices. ## Description As Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you'll own embedded software development across the business and be its software authority. You'll define the software architecture, set development standards, and make sure software quality, documentation and regulatory compliance meet medical-grade requirements. You'll work closely with the hardware, systems, verification and regulatory teams on products used in hospitals, critical care wards and frontline clinical settings. This is a key role in a growing medical device company, and your decisions will directly affect both product performance and patient outcomes.
