## About the Role

* 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning production systems
 * Expert Python skills and extensive Django experience
 * Proven experience building data pipelines in production (ideally Airflow) and strong SQL/PostgreSQL skills
 * Solid system design skills, including concurrency and asynchronous programming
 * Production experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools (e.g. Grafana)
 * Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and mentor others

Nice to have

 * Experience with robotics or IoT systems
 * Go or Rust
 * Experience building internal tools or developer platforms

Your mission

 * Own the architecture and roadmap of our internal infrastructure tools and data platform
 * Design and operate centralized data pipelines aggregating data from multiple products (e.g. drones, IoT and robotics devices), ensuring reliable ingestion and synchronization at scale
 * Build and scale backend services, APIs (Python/Django), and storage solutions, owning them end to end in production
 * Drive performance, scalability, observability, and security across our backend systems
 * Lead greenfield projects from concept to production
 * Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and help shape technical direction
