Someone who likes refurbishing IT equipment and identifying and harvesting valuable components from devices near the end of their lifecycle. Someone who enjoys learning new technology and cares about saving the planet by conserving valuable resources. Responsibilities: * Runs diagnostics on various consumer and industrial electronics including laptops, tablets, servers, and networking equipment, as well as their individual components * Position may operate specialized equipment in combination with considerable independence and variation in assignments, requiring knowledge of our propriety software platform and additional software. * Utilizes software to manage the data sanitation of hundreds of hard drives at a time and routes the devices to the appropriate distribution channel ranging from direct retail to responsible recycling * Utilizes sERP (proprietary software) to inventory numerous devices by creating labels and scanning barcodes to sort electronic components by attributes * Coordinates, supervises, and is accountable for the daily activities of Level 3 and Level 4 Operators.
