Your work will ensure that grid-connected converters for energy storage and generation comply with evolving grid codes and support grid-forming capabilities essential for the energy transition. Your work will directly contribute to the realization of high-efficiency, high-reliability systems for grid integration, and industrial applications. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define architectures, validate concepts, and drive innovation from research to product deployment., * Develop and validate detailed simulation models of high-voltage AC grids and their interaction with power electronic converters (e.g., MMC, VSC) * Analyze dynamic grid behavior under various operating conditions, including fault scenarios and disturbances in frequency and voltage * Evaluate compliance with international and regional grid codes (e.g., ENTSO-E, IEEE, BDEW) and support certification processes * Design and assess control strategies for grid-forming and grid-following converter-based resources * Collaborate with hardware, control, and system engineering teams to ensure integrated system performance and support R&D projects * Document findings and contribute to technical publications, standards, and internal knowledge bases, while collaborating with experts for seamless hardware-software co-design
