## Description

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join an IT team in Deerfield Beach, Florida on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity is well suited for a hands-on infrastructure professional with strong experience supporting daily operations across server administration, virtualization, backup, and recovery., * Administer and support virtual server environments, with a primary focus on Hyper-V, to ensure optimal performance, stability, and timely resolution of technical issues.

 * Maintain and troubleshoot VMware ESXi infrastructure within a mixed virtualization environment.
 * Manage backup, restore, and recovery operations using Veeam to safeguard critical systems and business data.
 * Perform Windows Server administration, including patching, maintenance, performance monitoring, and overall system support.
 * Support disaster recovery preparedness by testing recovery procedures and assisting with infrastructure incident response as needed.
 * Provide support for core cloud, security, and networking operations to help ensure a secure and reliable production environment.
 * Diagnose infrastructure outages and performance issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability.
 * Lead or assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and operational initiatives, while maintaining clear documentation of work completed and results achieved.
