From concept to launch, this role is involved as part of a cross-functional project team. This is a true full stack position. The team builds on the current Microsoft stack and modern Angular and expects real depth on both sides rather than strength in one and tolerance for the other. You will design and build server-side services and data access in C# and .NET, as well as the Angular applications that sit on top of them. Candidates who can reason about component architecture, state management, and front-end performance with the same confidence they bring to API and database design are exactly who we are looking for. The team also invests seriously in AI-assisted development, and this role is an opportunity to build that skill set in an environment that treats it as a real engineering practice. You will learn to work alongside AI tooling in a way that improves the quality of what you ship rather than simply the speed. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, resourceful, and brings a strong, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset. How We Work Written clarity matters here more than it does in many engineering roles. Engineers are expected to think through a change and document their approach before building it. You are accountable for everything that merges under your name. AI tooling can produce a significant amount of plausible-looking code quickly, and the person who submits it owns whether it is correct. Getting a change verified matters as much as getting it built. Tests and documentation are part of delivering work, not follow-up tasks. Sensitive parts of the system always receive human review regardless of what an automated check says. The team is also transparent about the mix of work. A meaningful portion of its capacity goes toward extending and supporting systems that are already live, not solely new development. Role Responsibilities * Contribute to a team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of critical business enterprise applications. * Build and maintain features end to end, covering C# and .NET services, data access, and the Angular front end that consumes them. * Take ownership of front-end quality, including component structure, reusable patterns, state management, accessibility, and browser performance. * Document an implementation approach before building, including the files and components expected to change, edge cases, testing approach, and how the change can be reversed if needed. * Work with AI-assisted development tooling as part of your normal workflow and develop the judgment to recognize where it adds value and where it should not be trusted. * Review code carefully, including code written by others and AI-generated code. Confirm that completed work matches agreed-upon requirements and reject work that does not reconcile. * Develop code with unit tests, correct flaws identified during testing, and integrate completed work into the wider application. * Produce test evidence, identify the potential blast radius of changes, and provide sufficient handoff details for QA to verify changes effectively. * Troubleshoot and correct defects in new and existing features. * Design integrations between proposed development projects and existing systems. * Keep documentation current as part of delivering a change rather than as a separate cleanup effort. * Work with Product, QA, senior engineering staff, and other developers to define, design, develop, test, and deploy new functionality. * Support existing business systems by providing design, development, testing, and deployment services as assigned. * Develop a working knowledge of how the applications operate, how they are structured, and how customers use them. Key Performance Indicators Within the first 90 days: Successfully take a piece of work from requirements through a merged, tested, and documented change across both the server side and front end without requiring close supervision. Within the first year: Become trusted to review other engineers' work, measurably improve the quality and test coverage of owned areas, and be able to explain how a significant part of the product works to a new engineer without needing to reference documentation. ## Related Videos - [The Resilience of the World Wide Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1281-the-resilience-of-the-world-wide-web) - [The AI-Ready Stack: Rethinking the Engineering Org of the Future](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1706-the-ai-ready-stack-rethinking-the-engineering-org-of-the-future) - [Shifting Stress to Progress— Understanding DevOps to do DevOps Better](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/268-shifting-stress-to-progress-understanding-devops-to-do-devops-better) - [Navigating the Corporate Jungle: Life as a Developer in a large Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/621-navigating-the-corporate-jungle-life-as-a-developer-in-a-large-company) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Can SVG be fast?
