(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) ## Description * Manages employees performing Systems Engineering activities * Develops and executes project and process plans, policies, procedures, and operational goals * Secures resources, manages suppliers, and drives process improvements * Builds and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports * Reviews and approves technical approaches, products, and processes * Develops, motivates, and manages employees to meet schedule and budget goals * Makes decisions that affect work unit results and schedules * Directs daily work unit operations and coordinates with internal and external contacts * Leads through non-management employees, often with varying levels of independence * Advises the work unit on tasks, projects, and operations, and supports daily operations as needed * Directly supervises non-management employees in daily operations This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
